“ This place is an local institution, I hope they never close. I had my first rolls from here and have since had sushi in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Atlanta and a dozen other big cities and small, they are my absolute favorite. The quality is never in question, they are always fast, and the prices are amazing. I hope you guys never close. I have missed having the dinning room open but that doesn't change how amazing the food is! ”

So many times in many other sushi places that are common to this area the rice is slightly hard and subpar but sumo boy has always had the best sushi rice I've ever had. Their lunch special is still the best bang for your buck for sushi in the entire area, especially considering the quality. The biggest thing to be aware of is that they are struggling to hire people to keep the small business going. I know I saw a couple reviews on them that talked about bad customer service. This is mostly due to the extreme high levels of stress they've been dealing with running the business with basically two people for almost two entire years. ”
